Hi Sarah & Micilin, though you’ve listed some fairly new businesses in Rockaway, you did miss Rockaway’s Main Street, Beach 116th Street. With hot spots like The Wharf (bar with spectacular sunsets), Cuisine By Claudette’s (French, Mediterranean Food), The Gift is Love (30 years in the business, great home décor and gifts), Rockapup (pet supplies), The Rockaway Beach Surf Shop (no explaination needed), Paninico, Café (paninis, wraps), The Blue Bungalow (gifts and décor), Lola Star (wearables and home décor) and Local Liquids (juice bar) are notable as well. With the A train, various bus services and Municipal Parking to this shopping corridor, access is easy to these Rockaway businesses open all year round!

There are lots of places you missed. From the family orientated never a bad choice Daltons, to the delicious mexi-American I’ll have another margarita Picos. Rockaway Neach Surf Shop has been around for over 20 years. Blue Bungalow has an amazing collection of photographs by none other than Liz Smith. The Gof is Love has one of a kind trinkets and has also been around for over 15 years. Try visiting business that are not seasonal but actually contribute to our economy 365 days a year.
